Notes for Alta Mae KILGORE
She had an older and sister and brother and she graduated from
high school before they did. She was a very talented
individual. She was an excellent pianist who could play by ear
and a very arts and craft oriented person. She was and
excellent cook and sewer. She was on the state fair board and
the state board of education and enjoyed her envolvement in
community affairs. She was given an outstanding achievement
award from the womens society of the methodist church as well as
a special cofference award from the methodist church central
conferrence society.
