| Elizabeth was born in Kinsington's Castle (the queen mother's summer residence) where her mother was a weaver. She had twelve children. There is an article about her life -see Marcella In her latter years (90+) she would spend a month at the Raitt farm after she couldn't take care of herself anymore. She was a strict methodist and wouldn't even allow the children to play cards. Every year the town of David City would celebrate her birthday because she and James practically built the Methodist church in David City.
